    Description

    These four 10 1/2" 'Topaz' yellow close-handled Depression glass 'Grill' plates were made in the 'Princess' pattern by Hocking Glass Company (Anchor Hocking today) between 1931 and 1935. Even though they are yellow glass, they are iridescent and were made with uranium, so they will give you a muted glow in UV. One plate has fleabites on one handle (see photo close up photo 8) and a couple more scratches than the rest, but is still in good condition considering it's age and intended use. The other three plates are in excellent condition without any chips, fleabites or major scratches observed. A beautiful, durable, and functional set ready for entertaining or display!
