    Height can be varied while working with different index centres while the angle of inclination can be changed for various machining applications. The tip of centre is finely rotatable. The dead centre of the tail stock should be in line with the centre of the rotary table.
    Indexing Mechanism:-
    The divisions  of  preset holes are provided for the most common angles such as 30⁰, 45⁰ and 90⁰. The remaining divisions of the circle are provided for manually rotating the dividing  arm using the plates.
