LARGE OLD PARIS PORCELAIN FRANCE 17 1/2" ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED PLATTER - CA. 1850

Description

Up for auction is this stunning antique Old Paris Porcelain 17 1/2 inch long X 12 inch wide large serving platter.  The platter has pink rose dominated floral groupings  around the inner circumference.  There is also a small floral grouping in the center.  The outer circumference has heavy gold painted raised textured floral highlights.  Edges are trimmed in gold.  All gold and flowers are hand painted.   All this creates a wonderful Victorian Art Nouveau influenced feel.  This is part of a large Old Paris Porcelain collection from an Estate in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA we are and will be selling over the next few weeks.  The previous owners wish to remain anonymous.  We estimate the age of these pieces to be from the early to mid 19th century, circa 1850.  No markings which is common and expected with Old Paris Porcelain.  Has an impressed three line mark on the bottom, common with Old Paris Porcelain pieces.  In nice condition with just  wear to gold edge trim commensurate with the antique age and use of the piece.  A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
