FRENCH ANTIQUE 18th CENTURY cream SERVING PLATTER PLATE Earthenware SOUTH FRANCE
Very rare and stunning terracotta from the Art Deco period, in cracked white ceramic stamped with Saint Clément, representing a peacock, signed by the referenced artist Charles Lemanceau (1905-1980).
An animal sculpture of very good authentic quality (it is not a reproduction!), The signature is on the base of the terrace.
Note chips on the base (see photo) and some cooking defects.
