    Description

    Antique Victorian Italian micromosaic 14k gold brooch parthenon Rome.
    This lovely little antique brooch measures 1” x 3/4” and is framed in 14k white gold. The onyx base is inset with the tiniest of micro mosaic chips depicting what I believe is the Parthenon in Rome. Even checking with a magnifying glass I can find no missing tesserae,  scratches or other problems. The brooch has a working clasp. I believe it dates to around 1870-1890 or so and can be considered as a grand tour item.
